Dig For The Cure
With the month of October designated as National Breast Cancer Awareness month, head coach Jen Calloway and the USC Upstate volleyball team will start a tradition to support this worthy cause with the Dig for the Cure campaign.
The Spartans have designated their home match on Friday, Oct. 24 against Stetson as USC Upstate's "Dig for the Cure" match. Individual sponsors can pledge money per Spartan kill, block, assist, service ace and dig earned by the Spartans during the match or can make a flat donation for the cause. The money raised by the team will go directly to the Upstate South Carolina Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
People wishing to contribute monetary donations to the Upstate Dig for the Cure campaign can fill out a pledge sheet on www.upstatespartans.com or at any Upstate home volleyball match. You can also contact assistant coach Ashley Stathas at (864) 503-5158 or E-mail her at firstname.lastname@example.org. Read More...
