SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Junior Emilia Milovanovic completed her second straight perfect Wofford Fall Challenge, winning a doubles match and two singles matches on Saturday to lead the USC Upstate women's tennis team to another successful run at the tournament at the Reaves Tennis Center.

The Paris, France native also won two doubles and one singles match on Friday to give her a perfect 6-0 record at the event, which is run in a round-robin format. Milovanovic has won six straight singles matches at the event, dating back to her sophomore year, and has won all nine doubles matches that she has played in, posting three wins in 2007 and three more in 2008 with former partner Anna Novo.

On Saturday, Milovanovic started out by teaming with unattached player Karen Martinez to down the Presbyterian doubles team of Heather Isbell and Heather Heusel, 8-6, before moving on to singles play, where she defeated Wofford's Guinn Garcia, 6-3, 6-4, and Presbyterian's Olivia McMillan in a super-set tiebreaker, 6-4, 2-6, 10-7. On Friday, Milovanovic teamed with Cinthya Lazaro to defeat Presbyterian's Paige Oelke and Heather Isbell, 8-3, and with Martinez, playing unattached, to beat North Florida's Victoria Krook and Melanie Aguirre, 9-7. In singles play, she defeated Isbell, 6-3, 6-2.

Lazaro teamed with Catherine Estupinan for their second straight doubles win, as they defeated Presbyterian's Cara Caruso and Margeaux Melby, 9-7. Lazaro followed that with a 7-6 (4), 7-5 win over Wofford's Bethany Dyar, helping Lazaro finish the tournament with a 3-0 mark in doubles and a 1-2 mark in singles play.

The Spartans completed their fall season with the Wofford Fall Challenge and now will await the start of their dual match season in the spring, which kicks off on Jan. 30, 2010 when they travel to Davidson.
