Why Should I Attend?
As a female athlete, you want to be the best that you can possibly be. How can you better improve your skill than with practice and motivation from one of the area's most successful coaches? How can you learn proper form if you haven't been taught? Form and fundamentals such as weight distribution, top hand, and bat speed will be carefully and thoroughly explained. You can improve your game while your opposition - the girls you will one day face on the field - are not polishing their skills through practice, drills, and coaching.
The camp fee includes six hours of daily instruction, staff evaluations, camp t-shirt, room and board (if a resident camper), and the use of campus facilities.
Purpose
To provide individualized, detailed instruction in the sport of fast pitch softball. We will teach and demonstrate proper fielding and hitting techniques, defensive and offensive strategies, the art of pitching, base running, and stealing, conditioning, mental awareness, and intensity.
We will also have a special segment for high school preparing for a college career.
Equipment
Campers should bring cleats, sweats, sweatshirts, gloves, socks, and tennis shoes. Catchers should also bring their catching gear.
