High School: Had a standout career at Olympic High School in Charlotte, N.C... named the Queen City 3A/4A Conference Player of the Year as a senior... hit .390 with 15 RBIs and 21 stolen bases... was an All-Mecklenberg, All-District, and Honorable Mention All-State selection and was named the Team MVP... hit .528 with 25 stolen bases as a utility player at Olympic under head coach and USC Upstate Athletics Hall of Fame member Doug Keelan in 2006... was an All-Region, All-Conference and All-Mecklenburg County selection as a junior... the team's Offensive Most Valuable Player.. an All-State selection in 2005... also earned All-Conference and All-Mecklenburg County honors as a sophomore... earned the team Offensive MVP award... named All-Conference and team MVP her freshman season... a standout in the classroom... carried a 4.7 GPA as an honor student... was a member of the National Honor Society... the salutatorian of her class and a two-time Wendy's High School Heisman nominee... earned the prestigious Chancellor's Scholarship at USC Upstate.
