2009: Had a solid first season for the Spartans... was strong defensively after moving over to second base... came into her own in the second half of the season... played in 37 games, 24 as a starter... started the last 16 games of the season... picked up her play during A-Sun games... led the Spartans with a .324 batting average in league outings... was also a perfect 4-for-4 in stolen base attempts... led the Spartans and ranked fourth in the A-Sun with nine sacrifice bunts on the year... went 2-for-2 with three runs in the 17-0 victory over Gardner-Webb (Feb. 25)... had a hit and an RBI in the 6-2 win over Campbell (March 20)... drove in the first run and scored the third in the 5-4 win at Stetson (March 28)... had a hit and two runs in the 10-2 victory over Belmont (April 11)... had a strong doubleheader in the sweep of Jacksonville (April 17)... had two hits an RBI and a run in each game as the Spartans won 4-1 and 8-4.

High School: The starting shortstop at Hopewell High School for four years playing for head coach David Webster... earned MECA 4A Region 6 Player of the Year honors as a senior... a four-time all-conference and All-Mecklenburg selection... earned all-state and all-region honors as a junior and senior... twice participated in the North Carolina State Games... earned team MVP honors as a senior after hitting .462 and leading the team in stolen bases and runs scored... named the team's Offensive Player of the Year as a junior... the team's Defensive Player of the Year as a freshman and sophomore... hit .446 as a junior... finished the year with a .517 on-base percentage and a .730 slugging percentage... led the team in singles, triples and home runs.... collected 29 stolen bases.... hit .459 as a sophomore with a .588 on-base percentage and a .705 slugging percentage... hit .371 as a freshman... a member of Hopewell's Athletics Hall of Fame... also a standout in the classroom... a member of the National Honor Society... a four-year member of the Honor Roll... earned the presidential Award for Academic Excellence.
