Olivia Gordon is in her first year as a softball assistant at USC Upstate.
Gordon, who is finishing the requirements for a degree in nursing, came to Upstate after graduating from Presbyterian College in May with a degree in psychology and a minor in biology. Graduating with a 3.6 GPA in her major, she was named to the Psi Chi National Psychology Fraternity.
While at Presbyterian, Gordon was a member of the softball team for three seasons. She helped lead the Blue Hose to two NCAA Division II Southeast Regional appearances, finishing second in the regional in 2004. She hit .300 with a .981 fielding percentage for PC in 2004.
A native of Philadelphia, Pa., Gordon attended Villa Maria Academy where she helped lead the softball team to two state tournament appearances and two conference championships. She had a career batting average of .350 as a four-year starter.
