JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - East Tennessee State forward Terri Miller scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Buccaneers over USC Upstate, 4-0, in the final game of the season for the Spartans in an Atlantic Sun Conference match at Summers-Taylor Stadium Saturday afternoon.

Miller got East Tennessee St. (10-5-3, 6-4-1 in the A-Sun) on the board early with a goal from 20 yards out just over the head of Upstate sophomore goalkeeper Brittany Daughtry in the sixth minute for a 1-0 early lead.

In the 21st minute, Miller set up another goal, this one by forward Jordan Monty as the Buccaneers took a 2-0 lead. Moments later, in the 25th minute, another East Tennessee St. forward found the back of the net as Katie Green scored to increase the lead to 3-0.

Miller finished off the contest with her second goal of the game in the 86th minute off of a service by Monty from about 30 yards out. Monty had a goal and two assists for East Tennessee St. and Green ended up with a goal and an assist.

Upstate managed just two shots in the contest, both coming in the first half, and Daughtry finished with eight saves to lead the Spartans. Freshman midfielder Catherine Nolff and sophomore midfielder Carmen Osorio each had one shot.

Upstate finishes its first season in Divsion I 3-15-0 and 1-10-0 in its first campaign in the Atlantic Sun Conference.
