Sept. 30, 2007 ESTERO, Fla. - Julie Miller fired a second straight strong round and Richelle and Richia Wedzik each turned in solid performances to lead USC Upstate to a fifth-place showing at the FGCU Invitational Sunday afternoon at the 6,029-yard, par-72 Miromar Lakes Golf Club. Miller shot a 78 Sunday in the final round of the tournament, combining with her first round 77 to finish tied for eighth with a 153 total. Richelle Wedzik lowered her second round score by nine strokes from her first round, finishing with a team-low 74 to finish with a 157 total and tied for 12th. Richia Wedzik finished with a 79 Sunday and a 156 total to finish tied for 10th. Traci Bodner shaved four strokes off her first round with and 81 and finished 24th. Audrey Church finished 30th in the field. Upstate entered the final round sixth in the six-team field but rallied with a 312 team total to finish with a tournament total 634 to move into fifth place. Barry, which had a seven-stroke lead on Upstate entering Sunday, shot a 322 to fall into sixth. Host Florida Gulf Coast won the tournament with a two-round total 620. Bethune-Cookman was second at 322 and was followed by Florida Atlantic (623), Stetson (631), Upstate and Barry. Individually, FGCU's Heather Hagerman shot a pair of 73 scores in the tournament to finish with a 2-over-par 146 total to win the individual championship. Florida Atlantic's P.
