Feb. 16, 2009 Atlanta, Ga. - The USC Upstate cheerleading squad traveled to Atlanta last weekend to compete in the CheerSport Nationals and took home third place in the College Coed Level 6 Division. "The cheerleaders did a fantastic job this weekend," said Upstate cheerleading coach Brandy Laney. Upstate placed third in the College Coed Level 6, finishing behind the University of Western Ontario and the University of Georgia. The Spartans finished ahead of North Georgia College & State, University of Regina and Florida Memorial. |
