It wasn't as easy as at the Tennessee Valley Open Championship on June 14, but USC Upstate volunteer assistant coach Julio Peralta still managed to not lose a set in a six-match trek to the 17th Annual William H. Metzger Pennsylvania State Clay Court Open Championship, beating Canadian Frederic Niemeyer, 6-1, 7-6 (5) in the finals on Sunday at the Colonial Country Club in Harrisburg, Pa. + MORE

For the eighth time in the last nine years and the first time in the Division I era, the USC Upstate men's tennis team has a postseason ranking, with the team finishing the year 70th in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings, which came out on May 22 following the conclusion of the 2009 NCAA Championships. + MORE
