2008: Played nearly the entire season with a severe ankle injury... had surgery in the offseason to repair the damage... played in 17 games for the Spartans.. started twice... ranked second on the team with three goals... ranked third on the team in scoring with six points... efficient with his strokes... took just 12 shots on the year... scored the game-winning goal in the 3-2 win over Brewton-Parker to open the season (Aug. 29)... also notched goals at Lipscomb (Oct. 12) and in the 3-1 win over Mercer (Oct. 25)... a member of the A-Sun All-Academic team.
2007: Had a solid freshman season for the Spartans... came into his own midway through the season... started six of the 15 games he played... led the team in scoring with seven points... scored two goals and added three assists... scored his first collegiate goal at Newberry (Sept. 21)... notched an unassisted goal at Presbyterian (Nov. 3)... gave out assists on the second and third goals in the 3-2 win over Belmont (Oct. 7)... had the assist on the game winner in the 2-1 victory over Gardner-Webb (Oct. 14)... a member of the A-Sun All-Academic team.
High School/Club: A three-time First Team All-District selection at Tomball High School... earned District Offensive MVP honors as a senior... was a member of the state Olympic Development Program team for three years... competed as an ODP Pool player for four years... a member of the Texans Soccer Club... a standout in the classroom as a member of the National Spanish Honor Society... earned several academic honors from Tomball.
Personal: Born on Feb. 5, 1989 in Houston, Texas... son of Ryanna McCoy... has two brothers, including twin brother, Chris, who plays soccer for Upstate... likes soccer, playing XBox and relaxing.
