2006: Saw action in three games... limited due to mid and late-season injuries... finished the year with one assist and just two shots... had an assist on the game-winning goal against Montreat (Sept. 14).

2005: Saw action in 16 contests... started three times... was a key contributor throughout the season at the forward spot and in the midfield... finished the season with six points on three goals... ranked tied for sixth on the team in scoring... took nine shots, seven of which were on goal... added insurance goals in wins over Montreat (Aug. 31), North Greenville (Sept. 8), and Limestone (Oct. 17).

2004: Saw action as a key reserve off the bench... played in 15 games, starting once... finished the year with two goals for four points on eight shots... scored his first collegiate goal in the 7-0 victory over Union (Sept. 4)... added his second goal in the 8-1 win over USC Aiken (No. 2) in the first round of the Peach Belt Conference Tournament.

High School: Lettered four times on his Spartanburg High School squad... also played two years of football... a two-time team Most Valuable player in soccer... named All-Region twice... a member of the Beta Club.

Personal: Born on Mar. 31, 1986 in Spartanburg, S.C... his father, Samuel Acosta, played for USC Upstate in 1982.
