Adam Walker is in his second year as a media relations assistant at USC Upstate. He is the primary contact for women's soccer, men's and women's cross country, and men's and women's track & field. He will also help coordinate the statistical operation at home men's and women's basketball games.

A native of Landrum, S.C., Walker came to Upstate in the spring of 2007 as an intern while working on his bachelor's degree in Print Media from North Greenville University. He served as the primary contact for baseball and assisted with men's and women's tennis. He will complete his degree requirements in December.

Prior to coming to Upstate, Walker worked as a freelance sports writer at the Spartanburg Herald-Journal from 2002-04 and the Tryon Daily Bulletin from 2000-02. While at the Herald-Journal, he covered high school and college sports.
