Martin Hill was USC Spartanburg's most decorated men's soccer player in the early-90s. He earned NAIA and NCSAA First-Team All-America honors in 1985. The seventh-leading scorer on USCS' all-time list, he was a four-time All-District Six and All-Area selection and was named District Six Player of the Year in 1986.

Hill led USCS to the NAIA National Tournament in 1983, 1984, and 1985. He earned All-Tournament recognition in 1985.

Hill was also an accomplished cross country runner. He earned All-District honors in 1983 and represented USCS in the 1983 Cross Country Nationals meet.

The proprietor of Outback Steakhouse in Spartanburg, SC, Hill spent four years with the Tampa Bay Rowdies professional soccer team.
