Since Upstate has started a track program, what are the plans for building a new track and field complex?

The University acquired some additional acreage last year and has now hired a master plan A & E group to complete a site analysis, design and cost study to develop a track and field complex on campus.

Also, we have a significant lead gift from an Upstate alum and local business to allow us the opportunity to develop this project.

Pending the outcome from the feasibility study, we plan to seek permission from the USC Board of Trustees and local Commission of Higher Education to hopefully make the project become a reality within the next year.
