Do you plan to add any new positions as you continue to transition into Division I athletics? If so what positions and what is your timeline?

Yes, as we began planning for the move to Division I, we did a seven-year business plan. This plan includes where we would like to see growth in personnel, operational budgets and scholarship funding levels over the course of our transitional period into Division I.

We are now in our third year of this business plan and progressing at a very nice pace. At the end of the academic year, we plan on hiring two new full-time personnel, an assistant athletic trainer and an academic advisor.

The assistant athletic trainer position will be full-time effective July 1.

The Academic Advisor position is full-time and we plan for that person to begin sometime between May and July. This position has been approved and we plan to begin advertising for this position sometime in March.
